Retail Support to International Directors

RETAIL SUPPORT to Retail Directors and Director of BD US



Purpose of role: driving the commercial and operations Primark standards,
policies and procedures and supporting the day to day activities of Stephen Mullen, José Luis Martínez de Larramendi and Andy Stewart.

Reports to: Stephen Mullen Retail director Iberia, Italy, CEE & Benelux countries and José Luis Martínez Retail director US and Future Countries and supporting Andy Stewart Director of Business Development US


Main Responsibilities

  • Sales and commercial - Preparing and analysing commercial reports and budgets.
  • Property: support the road map updates and sales estimates for new stores
  • Retail Communication – Responsible for managing the retail communications between Retail directors and country managers
  • Customer Service – Accountable for ensuring company standards and procedures are adhered to by the stores
  • Support for Travel Requests and Logistics for travels – Coordinating travel requisitions with the company Travel Office and the local Travel Agency according to the company policies and procedures. Travel requests and logistics for travels, preparing agendas for the trip contacting countries
  • Manage expenses through Concur
  • Control of Invoices (retail area) – Responsible for controlling retail invoices solving any issue and supporting the company Finance and Accounts Department. Expenses.
  • People – Providing personal assistance to the executive team assigned
  • Administrative Processes - Developing and managing administrative processes to better organize the Regional Office related tasks

Skills/Knowledge/Experience

  • University Degree (Finance/Administration preferable)
  • 2-3 years analytical/sales assistant experience
  • Microsoft office tools proficient, excel, word, outlook
  • Bilingual level of English (written & spoken)
  • Retail experienced
  • Confidentiality: Sound judgement, unquestionable ethics and integrity with high degree of transparency and trust
  • Good level of communication with different levels, externally and internally.
